Cyprus Wines
Cyprus has a unique place in the history of wines and the development of the wine trade. Our wine traditions go back over 6,000 years. The challenge of a warm climate and high altitude vineyards made the interest of winemakers to experiment beyond the classic recipe. Many of them vinify single-vineyard wines, use native yeasts and increasingly low intervention to express their land.
CYPRUS WINES
RED | WHITE | ROSE
Cyprus Vineyards cover the largest percentage of semi-mountainous and mountainous land. The vine thrives from sea level is up to an altitude of more than 1,500 meters. Most of the Vineyards are based on the western and the south part of Paphos and Lemesos, which is mainly of Lime, Asbestolithic and Volcanic Soil on the western and southern parts of the Troodos Mountain Range.
